church-coffeeWe realize attending a new church can be a bit stressful and people have all sorts of questions and emotions as they enter the building. Grab some coffee or tea and make yourself at home. No one is going to single you out as a visitor. You can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. We hope you sense God’s very real presence here with us today.

We encourage people to come back a few times, as it may take a little while for a church to feel like home. It’s important to move beyond a limited first impression. If you’ve given it a fair shot and still feel like Journey is not for you, let us know and we will try to point you to another church. While we would love for you to land here, there are other great churches we can recommend to you.

Newcomer’s Lunch

We regularly have a special lunch for newcomers. This is a great way to meet a pastor and a few leaders, learn about how Journey got started, ask questions, meet other newcomers, learn if JCC is a good fit for you and how you can get involved. To know when the next Newcomer’s Lunch is, please email

Starting Point

Starting Point is for people who are curious about God, have a new relationship with Jesus Christ, or are returning to church after being gone a while. Basically, Starting Point is an 8 week small group session that lasts about 75 minutes each and explores the Christian faith. It is made up of a couple of leaders and 6-10 group members. Getting Involved

puzzleheart Serving others is a great way to connect with other people! It empowers people to use their gifts, and gives them an opportunity to grow in their faith. We rely on volunteers for much of our ministry and have come to the realization that when we make a step to get involved, it’s a great way toward connecting with other people in the church family. If you are interested in getting involved at Journey, please email
